Staying safe online and protecting your money

Scams are becoming more sophisticated and can affect anyone. This session will give you practical tips to help you recognise common scams and protect your money, identity and personal information.

Presented by National Australia Bank (NAB).

What you’ll learn:

  • What’s really happening online right now

  • How scammers target you and your family

  • The most common scams affecting uni students

  • Simple steps you can take to stay safe

  • Where to get help if you’ve been targeted

Tessa Bowles, Senior Consultant, Group Security Culture and Advisory, NAB.
