Allowed to Birth follows internationally respected global midwife Kristine Lauria,
whose remarkable career has taken her across the world, supporting birth across diverse cultures and communities. Through Kristine's experiences, the film explores how birth differs across cultures, alongside physiological and breech birth, traditional midwifery and respectful maternity care, asking what we
can learn when women, culture and physiology are respected.
